Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Malawi now Malawi University of Business and Applied Studies (MUBAS).

He is a seasoned generalist micro finance practitioner. He has over years experience in the microfinance industry. Over the years, he has held senior management positions such as Head of Operation at Izwe Loans Limited, Credit and Collections Manager at Blue Financial Services and Centenary Bank. He has also worked as a Chief Operating officer at Pinnacle Financial Services Limited .

Among other things, he was responsible for credit risk management, collections and operations functions.
